Who is Queensland Bookings?
Queensland Bookings is owned by SJ Travel Australia Pty Ltd, and is an online travel agency.
Queensland Bookings is a 100% Australian owned and operated booking web site. Our goal is to provide you with a wide range of accommodation and tour options for the whole of Queensland.
We are a small bespoke agency, based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
Queensland Bookings started its life in Hervey Bay on the Fraser Coast, before relocating further South in 2009. As such, we have a great deal of expertise when it comes enquiries regarding Fraser Island, Hervey Bay and Whale Watching.
Consumer Protection.
Queensland Bookings is a licensed travel agent and member of the Australian Travel Compensation Fund (TCF). This provides protection for you in the event of a financial failure by one of our tour or accommodation suppliers or Queensland Bookings itself.
Before you book any accommodation or tour, always ask if your Travel Agent are a legitimate member of the Australian Travel Compensation Fund. It's the best way to make sure your safe and protected.

Queensland Bookings are a friendly Travel Agent providing Online Bookings for holiday makers.Unlike deciding which activities or reef tour to book, finding a place to stay is usually pretty damn boring and often takes up way too much of your time. As a result, we have decided to simplify things and take the hassel out of booking your accommodation by using Booking.com. Booking Conditions & Responsibilities.
For our websites, Queensland Bookings has used information supplied by the operators providing
the various goods and/or services. In supplying information to you, Queensland Bookings is acting
as the agent of such Operators. Irrespective of any measures taken by Queensland Bookings to
ensure the information contained in these websites are accurate at the time of publication,
Queensland Bookings disclaims and will be exempt from liability in respect of anything misleading,
false, incomplete or inaccurate and any errors, misdescription and all associated disappointment,
loss, expense, damage, inconvenience, delay, death, shock, illness or injury, however caused.
Queensland Bookings disclaims and will be exempt from liability for anything to do with the supply
of such Products. This includes liability (whether as a matter of contract, tort, statute, restitution, or otherwise)

Prices and Conditions.
Prices and conditions are subject to change without notice. All prices are in Australian dollars.
Services may or may not include a GST component. Unless indicated otherwise, prices do not include transport
from your homeport to holiday destination and return, items of a personal nature, meals, transfers and existing
or proposed taxes and government charges.
Amendments.
Any amendment to your booking is subject to the approval of the relevant Operator.
Any amendment will be charged at $50 per amendment.
Cancellations and Refunds.
Tour & 4WD Hire Bookings:
In most instances, fees will be charged if you cancel your bookings earlier than expected, for whatever reason.
A minimum of $50.00 + 10% of the total amount of the booking, administration fee will be charged in any case of an already confirmed booking being cancelled.
If a tour is being cancelled 15 days or more, before the tour commences, 25% of the cost of the booking + $50.00 will be required.
If a tour booking is being cancelled within 14 days of the tour commencing, full payment will be required.
If a 4WD booking is cancelled more than 15 days prior to the booking, 25% + $50.00 will be required.
If a 4WD booking is cancelled within 14 days of the booking commencing, full payment will be required.
Accommodation Bookings (not including Private Holiday Homes).
In most instances, fees will be charged if you cancel your holiday / bookings earlier than expected, for whatever reason.
If a booking is being cancelled more than 30 days before the booking commences, a fee equivalent to 15% of the booking + $50.00 will be required.
If a booking is being cancelled within 15 - 30 days of the booking commencing, a fee equivalent to 50% of the booking + $50.00 will be required.
If a booking is being cancelled within 14 days of the booking commencing, full payment will be required.
Private Holiday Homes.
In most instances, fees will be charged if you cancel your holiday / bookings earlier than expected, for whatever reason.
A non refundable deposit of 50% is needed to secure all private homes on Fraser Island.
Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Refunds are at the discretion of the owner.
It is strongly advised to take out travel insurance!
